StratemGames is where game guides are written by people, for people.
About the author
I'm a regular player who loves digging into game mechanics. The site grew from wanting one place for clear, honest guides — advice that works in-game, not just on paper.
What you'll find here
StratemGames covers survival games and complex game systems. Every guide follows the same standard:
- tips tested in real gameplay;
- updates for current patches and seasons;
- a clear structure: from basics to advanced tactics;
- guides and pages in English, Russian, Spanish, German, Japanese, Indonesian, and Portuguese — every version is written and updated by hand.
How I work
Every guide is more than a retelling of someone else's tips. I check everything myself: I run the mechanics, find the pitfalls, and re-check after patches. If something becomes outdated, I fix the page — I don't wait for someone to complain.
Why the site is in 7 languages
Games are an international language. Guides, unfortunately, usually aren't — they're stuck in one. A player in Spain or Indonesia shouldn't need a translator just to get through a hard moment.
That's why StratemGames is available in Russian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Japanese, and Indonesian. This isn't just machine translation — each version is adapted to the game's terminology and keeps the same guide structure.
How I choose games for guides
I'm a gamer myself. Between building the site, I play the games I later write about. That way I spend time on projects I know in depth, and I can give advice that actually works — not a recap of someone else's.
I pick a game when three things are true:
- Is there demand? Do players hit problems that other sources don't cover well?
- Do I know the game well enough? I don't write about systems I haven't figured out myself. That's a quality issue.
- Will it fit the current audience? People come here for specific genres, and I don't want to blur that focus.
If a game is too simple or has no depth, I skip it. If it's complex, takes real study, and I've learned it — it goes on the plan.
Clusters on the site: how I rebuilt the structure
When I was just starting, I didn't know SEO (the technical stuff search engines care about) and tried to write one fat guide that answered fifty questions at once. It sounded logical. In practice it didn't work: a reader found one answer and scrolled past the rest.
Later, once I understood SEO, I saw that this approach couldn't reach a wide audience — search engines simply don't see those separate questions.
So I introduced a cluster system:
- A cluster is a big topic, for example “Everything about divisions”.
- Inside the cluster is a guide, for example “Complete division guide”.
- Inside the guide are chapters, for example “Division basics”.
- Inside the chapters are articles, each answering one precise topic, for example “How to create a division”.
The old long guides are gradually moving into this structure. It's easier for readers and clearer for search engines.
How URLs work on the site
Every page on StratemGames has a clear, logical address. That helps both people and search engines see what the page is about and which language it's in.
Example: https://stratemgames.space/en/hearts-of-iron-iv/clusters/everything-about-divisions/complete-division-guide/battalions-companies-and-support-regiments/infantry-battalions
- /en/ — language (Russian, English, Spanish, and so on)
- /hearts-of-iron-iv/ — the game (Hearts of Iron IV)
- /clusters/ — the clusters section
- /everything-about-divisions/ — the cluster name
- /complete-division-guide/ — one large guide
- /battalions-companies-and-support-regiments/ — the chapter name
- /infantry-battalions — the article name
These aren't just pretty links. This structure lets:
- a reader see immediately where they are.
- search engines understand pages without mixing them up.
- me add new games and languages without chaotic URLs.
